Degree required: BS in Petroleum Engineering or related. Minimum 5 years of reservoir engineering work experience. Working knowledge of MS Office applications and Subsurface applications including Eclipse, Prosper  (nodal analysis), Saphir, M-Bal, Gap, Petrel, Aires and other reserves estimation and evaluation tools. Proficiency with VOLTS and understanding of stochastic analyses are a plus. With cross-functional team members, recommend field development program in order to grow reserve base and meet production goals. Evaluate reservoir performance and collaborate to develop techniques to optimize recoveries and minimize bypassed pay. Monitor well and overall field performance. Apply continuous improvement to drive performance for life cycle of field. Work closely with operations team and other disciplines to maximize reservoir opportunities. Collaborate with other operators and service companies to capture synergies in technology applications and operations. Keep abreast of innovative developments in tight gas sand practices.  Evaluate and recommend improvement opportunities. Utilize stochastic analysis to characterize production profile, reserve and project economic uncertainty and risk. Develop reserve booking strategy, evaluate & book reserves, perform economic evaluations, prepare WBS’s for projects, plan capital needs as a part of the budget process. Prepare and deliver technical presentations for management reviews, peer reviews and technical committee meetings.

Wisconsin Process Safety Engineer                                              JA-20281

Coordinate the overall plant (PSM) program. Develop, update, & implement plant PSM procedures. Maintain and coordinate the process safety information for the plant. Identify and ensure compliance with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices, which are related to process safety. Coordinate the validation of plant PHAs. Facilitate PHAs for plant changes when required and PHA validations. Participate in (PSSRs) at the plant. Assist with the review of proposed plant changes and provide guidance on when to conduct PHAs for plant changes. Participate in investigations of process safety incidents. Coordinate the plant’s emergency response plan. Participate in PSM audits. Coordinate the plant’s consequence risk assessment for worst-case and alternative release scenarios. Assist with preparation of reports as required by government, regulatory agencies, and associations. Keep up to date on current and pending legislation. Establish a program to share information within the plant. Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred along with 3+ years of PSM experience in the chemical industry. Good interpersonal skills, able to inspire & encourage best practices at the plant. Training history in PSM principles would be a plus. Must have experience developing and implementing PSM initiatives and upgrading the programs.
