Iowa Safety Engineer                                                                       BB-20312

Top-notch company would like to have a hands-on, pro-active safety professional join their EHS Team at their flagship facility. Responsible for managing contractor and day to day safety aspects of the EH&S Program for the Industrial Division (400+ employee facility) and providing guidance/support for other regional facilities as needed. Will provide the leadership for maintaining a culture that encourages safe behaviors and the appropriate employee mindset. Will also monitor the execution of employee and contractor field activities. Will play a lead role in PPE selection, IH sampling, and provides support for application of the chemical hygiene plan for the R&D facility and reinforcement for the recently implemented Electrical Safety Program. Will interface with regulatory agencies, service providers, consultants, contractors, and employees at all levels of the organization.  Will work with the training subcommittee in the development and delivery of safety training, lead the development and implementation of safety programs/procedures, and oversee related administrative activities. Responsible for administering worker’s compensation program. Will facilitate the medical care for injured employees in a manner which minimizes expenses and facilitates return to work.

Iowa Safety Leader                                                              CD-20222

BS/BA in Safety or related, MS/MBA is preferred. Must have at least 5 years of health and safety program management in a manufacturing plant with continuous process or food plant experience preferred. Must have experience in managing behavior-based safety programs. Strong training skills. Proven success in managing IH, PSM, Hazmat programs. Prior safety program management in a union plant is desired. Must have demonstrated ability to effectively develop, implement and manage strategic programs, have strong leadership skills and at least 5yrs of leadership experience. Current CSP &/or CIH certifications preferred

Must have strong Environmental Health, Safety and Process Safety (PSM) experience from chemical manufacturing or related plants.  Must have skills in: HES program development, HES regulatory guidance/compliance and auditing, budget management, Process Safety (PSM), leading (PHA’s), loss control, industrial hygiene, security, behavioral-based safety, safety training, incident investigations and reduction, environmental permitting including Title V, stormwater, hazardous and solid waste management, emergency response. This position is heavily focused on the Safety and PSM side. Must have staff management and mentoring experience.

Oklahoma Safety Leader                                                              CD-20345

This position is responsible for safety and health programs for a mid-sized chemical production facility, including Process Safety Management, risk assessment, safety program development and implementation, corrective action and training. This role will interact with an environmental compliance counterpart and plant management as well as corporate health and safety to ensure the quality execution of health and safety programs for this facility.
