Bethany Brevard
Bethany Brevard is the President and Founder of Professional Outlook, Inc. (POI). Bethany has worked in the recruiting industry since 1989 and founded POI in 1991. Previously, she worked in the apparel manufacturing industry and retail sales management in California before relocating to the Chicago area, then finally Western Michigan to be closer to family.

Debbie Hunkins
Debbie joined POI in July of 2005 and is currently a Sr. Recruiter for the Chemical Process Industry. She entered the recruiting industry in 1989 specializing in Environmental, Health, Safety and Human Resources to include operating her own recruiting company for over a decade prior to joining POI. In 2008 she received the Silver Recruiter Achievement Status from NPA and has solid experience handling positions from plant up through and including Corporate, Director and VP levels with her niche being "Finding that needle in a haystack" for her clients. "Even with all of the modern technology available, I still love utilizing the phone to seek and find those special candidates for my clients. There is great enjoyment as well as satisfaction in connecting a wonderful future employee - seldom out there on a job board - with a fabulous company and everyone wins."

John Zimmer, CPC
John joined POI in 1993 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications and is currently a Senior Recruiter. He began his career with POI as a Technical Recruiter specializing in Chemical Engineering. From 1997-2011, John specialized in Environmental, Health and Safety and was instrumental in adding Human Resources as an additional area of specialization for POI. Since mid-2011, he enhanced his recruiting efforts to also include Process Safety Management, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. John earned his CPC certification in 2006 and has recertified every year since. John is known for providing excellent recruiting service for his clients and candidates, in the manufacturing, oil refining, chemical processing and related industries.

Colleen Doerr-Fisher
Colleen joined POI in 1998, and is currently a Senior Recruiter. She specializes in finding top talent for her clients and career opportunities for her professional candidates. Before joining POI Colleen worked 13 years for a large computer hardware and software manufacturer and service provider. There she focused on consulting in areas of contract administration and support for numerous clients while working closely with the sales organization in areas of quote generation, order processing, fulfillment and invoicing. While living in the DC Metro area, Colleen supported the company's Mid-Atlantic regional customers and clients. After returning to the Midwest she began working with their smaller satellite offices in West Michigan and Northern Indiana. With several years of experience in developing strategies to support both internal and external client needs, Colleen has honed her skills in communications and implementing action plans. Her ability to understand her clients' organizations and their needs positions her well for finding the right candidate for the right role. Colleen combines her professional experience with formal education that includes general studies and international business courses at colleges in Maryland and Michigan, on-going professional development training, seminars and active participation at networking events, as well as, EHS and HR forums.

Shelley Woodcock
Shelley joined POI in 1998, and is currently a Senior Technical Recruiter; she specializes in the placement of Chemical, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers in the Chemical Process Industry, to include both individual contributor positions up to Engineering Management, Plant Management to Director level positions. Shelley's strongest quality is her ability to build relationships and trust with a strong network of Top Engineering Professionals to help client companies quickly fill their critical hiring needs. Shelley is no stranger to recruiting, having spent over 13 years as a Technical Recruiter in the chemical industry taught her the importance of understanding, direction, & dedication throughout the recruiting process. These attributes are essential in bringing the right candidate and company together. Shelley's background in the Real Estate Industry laid the foundation to be successful in the recruiting profession, such as discussing and understanding ones needs coupled with assisting individuals who are making life changing decisions in order to achieve their goals.

Kelly McCarthy
Kelly joined POI in 1997 after graduating from Northern Illinois University and is currently a Senior Recruiter. She specializes in Environmental, Health, Safety and Human Resources recruiting for clients in the manufacturing industry. Kelly's strongest point is the ability to match candidates with the right placement that match their career goals and desire. I find it extremely rewarding to help talented professionals advance their career and find jobs that they love! Kelly runs a full cycle desk and is also proactive in developing new business and eager to help current and new clients with their hiring needs. The relationships that we build are the core of our business, both on the candidate & client side. Kelly is truly passionate about recruiting and loves what she does and always strives to do her best. Jason Brevard
Jason joined POI in 2007, and is currently a Senior Engineering Recruiter specializing in Engineering for the Chemical Process Industry nationwide. Jason's strongest point is his ability to understand the client's needs and identify candidates that will fit technically as well as thrive in their respective cultural environment. Jason helps everyone from large integrated oil companies to niche specialty chemical plants pair with the top engineering talent that will make a positive impact on their organization. Before joining POI in 2007, Jason worked for Huntington National Bank in a range of capacities from Consumer Lending/Deposit Accounts to Business Banking. Drawing on several years of experience in understanding customer's needs and taking a consultative approach in discussing solutions to improve the customer's experience, Jason now focuses mainly on establishing relationships with today's top engineering talent and making it easy for clients to locate the professionals they seek that can improve their plants and refineries.

Kristi Walters
Kristi joined POI in 2011 and is currently a Senior Banking & Finance Recruiter specializing in executive level positions within the industry. Her reach encompasses local, regional, national, and international clients. Before joining POI, Kristi had 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry on both the retail and wholesale side. This included working with internal and external customers, as well as brokers. She enjoyed implementing her marketing skills to cross sell the programs and products her banking institution represented. Kristi also worked in a Credit Union's Loan Department and appreciates the skills and knowledge of the Credit Union foundation that she learned there. She also spent time working in the Personal Banking Department at a large downtown Chicago bank, while serving an internship towards her degree. Kristi also spent a business term in London, England, that contributed towards her degree. Kristi's several years in the banking industry and experience in different fields, coupled with her knowledge, organizational, and interpersonal skills, make Kristi the perfect person to find the right candidates for her clients. Kristi also actively networks to keep up on the current trends in the industry.

Susan Kendall
Susan joined POI in 1998 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2006 Susan was promoted to NPA/IPA Network Coordinator. She is responsible for effectively processing highly detailed data for the benefit of our recruiters with in a fixed time duration. Susan is excellent at managing the ever-growing information at POI by best utilizing her years of acquired skills and prior experience.

Shannon Zimmer
Shannon joined POI in 1998 and is a Sr. Research/Recruiting Assistant in our Human Resources, EHS and Engineering Divisions for all Chemical Processing Industries, including Pharmaceutical and Petroleum Refining. She specializes in finding top talent for our clients and career opportunities for her professional candidates. In addition to her Recruiting Assistant duties, she has spent over 10 years supporting HR, providing skills in - Employee Relations, Recruitment, Policy & Procedures and Communications.
